Traci Kennedy
Canadian Country Music Singer/Songwriter

Hailing from Southwestern Ontario, Traci Kennedy is more than just a country music artist — she's a beacon of raw emotion and unwavering strength. With 41 years of musical passion coursing through her veins, she has most recently transformed personal tragedy into a powerful musical journey that resonates deeply with audiences worldwide.
Her latest single, "You Never Said Goodbye," is a personal testament to her strength, born from the profound grief of losing her daughter to suicide. This heart-wrenching song has quickly become a global healing anthem, remarkably reaching #1 on the Canadian Indie Country Charts on July 6, 2025.....the third anniversary of her daughter's passing. The track's powerful narrative has also earned her a prestigious Josie Music Award nomination for Social Impact Song of the Year, to be celebrated at the iconic Grand Ole Opry on November 2, 2025.
Traci’s accomplishments are nothing short of impressive. She captured first place in the Female Open category at the Canadian Open Country Singing Contest in 1999 and again in 2003 at the Ontario Open Country Singing Contest. In 2006, she made waves as the only Canadian finalist in the “All American Superstar” competition and released her debut CD, “How Many Hearts,” which was met with rave reviews. That same year, she was honored to be named a D.A.R.E. Role Model for students in Mishawaka, Indiana. And let’s not forget about 2007, when she won “Best Country Female Artist” and “Best Country Album” in the Independent Artist Category with Toronto Exclusive Magazine.
Traci has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with some of country music's best including Lonestar, Sawyer Brown, The Road Hammers, Trace Adkins, Johnny Reid and Charlie Major, to name a few.......and gives graciously of her time both as a community leader and as a mentor to up and coming artists who have crossed her path.
